Meljine is a small tourist destination in the heart of the Bay of Kotor, located near Herceg Novi. Although a small place, Meljine has a long history—over 100 years older than Herceg Novi itself. It is a place where tourists can enjoy peace, natural beauty, and the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.

If you enjoy long walks, you will surely appreciate a stroll along the 6 km-long promenade “Pet Danica”, which connects Herceg Novi with nearby places all the way to Zelenika. The promenade was named in memory of five heroes, all named Danica, who died in World War II. It is also known as the “health trail”, as it is surrounded by crystal-blue sea on one side and rich Mediterranean vegetation on the other. Along the way, you can refresh yourself at one of the many beaches, enjoy a coffee, or try local specialties in nearby restaurants.
