Nazif Softic Cabin is located in the immediate vicinity of Prokosko Lake. The property offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in a traditional Bosnian mountain katun. Within the cabin, there is an enclosed terrace with a kitchen and fireplace, where both traditional Bosnian and international dishes can be prepared.

The cabin consists of a ground floor and an attic and is fully designed and decorated in the spirit of traditional Bosnian heritage.

Our host, Mr. Nazif Softic, is living proof that people who truly value tradition still exist in this region, while also providing warm hospitality. The combination of the traditions of Prokosko Lake and our host creates a unique and positive atmosphere that can only be experienced.

Prokosko Lake is located on Mount Vranica at an altitude of 1,636 meters above sea level. It lies about 22 km from Fojnica. The lake is known for its endemic flora and fauna, including the rare alpine newt species that still inhabits its waters.

One of the activities we highly recommend is hiking Mount Vranica and exploring its nearby peaks. Since you are already at a high altitude, it takes less than two hours to reach peaks above 2,000 meters, and the hike is not demanding. Throughout the journey, you can enjoy breathtaking natural scenery in every direction.

Nearby are the peaks Krstac and Nadkrstac, offering magnificent panoramic views stretching for dozens of kilometers. At Prokosko Lake, there is also a mosque recognized as the highest-altitude mosque in Europe, located at 1,666 meters.
