Villa Amalia is located in a secluded area of Aptera village and it’s only a short distance (2,5km) from its world famous archaeological site of Aptera. The villa is surrounded by olive trees and offers spectacular views of Souda Bay and Akrotiri peninsula through out  the year.

The villa is extended to three levels. In the main level, you will find the Living Room, Dining Room and the fully equipped kitchen. The very large balcony of the main level, in addition to offering breathtaking views of the Bay, leads to the salty water pool and surrounding garden.

In the upper floor, there’s the Master Bedroom with en suite WC and Shower room. Additionally, there’s a second bedroom with two single beds and a large bathroom with jacuzzi. Both bedrooms share a balcony facing the Bay and Akrotiri peninsula.

Finally, the lower level, is a complete, independent apartment of its own. There’s a large bedroom, a WC with shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a Living Room with fireplace. An extra room, is used for laundry and storage. The lower level leads to the porch, the garden and the BBQ.

The center of our village with its taverns serving delicious Cretan food is within walking distance (1,2km). Obviously, you can also drive there if you so wish. Beautiful sandy beaches like Kyani and Kalyves are within 5km while any more are within 30 minutes driving time!. The distance from Chania town with its wonderful Venetian Port and Market place, is only 13km away.

If you arrive by ferry from Piraeus (Athens) to Souda, the port is only 6km away while Chania airport (CHQ) is 21km away.
